Working for corporate America, I felt that I was missing something. It seemed that many companies had lost the ideology that everything done was for one purpose, creating a happy customer. I felt disillusioned with corporate America and dreamed of the day when I could be my own boss and create the kind of company that puts the customer’s needs first…ALWAYS.  While completing an addition to my home where I acted as general contractor for the framing and personally did all the other trades myself, I realized that I was on to something.  My old original windows were drafty, would stick in the summer and were unattractive.  During construction, I replaced all of the windows in my home and was amazed at the difference.  Not only was my home now beautiful and better climate-controlled on the inside, but the outside now had added curb appeal. Soon, others would be looking at and complimenting my work and asking me when I would be available to work on their homes.  I had tremendous satisfaction and pride in my quality work and it showed.  Many of these people would call contractors who would not return calls, give estimates, or show up for work. I have always loved building and constructing, even as a child.  Wouldn’t it be wonderful, I thought, to create a company in which my customers always get what they want when they want it at a fair price?  And so, American General Windows was born.  Our commitment to beauty, quality, value, fairness and promptness is unrivaled.  So are our windows.  The Pride Clearly Shows!
